"Introduction to Microsoft Flow" - Rhia Wieclawek (Director, Business Process Automation, Elantis Solutions)

As a tool in the Office 365 suite, Microsoft Flow is getting more and more attention and overthrowing other workflow tools in many corporations. How does this tool compare to others – where is it thriving, where is it lacking? What does licensing look like, and what are the “gotchas” that you need to be aware of? Learn about these topics and dive into the possibilities with this introductory session.

"Designing for density: best practices for content-heavy sites and pages" - Katie Swanson (Product Designer, Microsoft)

When it comes to accessing valuable content online, too often, the way it’s often presented leaves a lot to be desired. For organizations whose work revolves around providing perspective and thought leadership, if how content is designed and delivered isn’t on par with the quality of thinking it contains, they’re selling themselves short—and undermining the very ideas they seek to advance.
Katie will cover how with well-thought-out design using the latest SharePoint authoring tools, you can find ways to present content-heavy websites clearly and effectively, encouraging your audience to visit, engage, and read what we have to offer.

About Vancouver Office 365 User Group

The Vancouver Office 365 Users Group (VanO365) meets on the first Thursday of every month to discuss anything related to Microsoft SharePoint or Office365 technologies. We start with some networking over pizza and refreshments, and then dive into two sessions provided by guest speakers. Topics range from end-user basic functionality tutorials to bleeding edge developer deep dives. We then finish the evening with a SharePint; a tasting of what the local craft breweries have to offer.
