“Strategy Master Skills for Planning a Meaningful Digital Workplace” - Brian Edwards & Barbara Richards

With so many options in Office 365, determining which tool to use when can be challenging. Join Habanero consultants Brian Edwards and Barbara Richards where they will introduce you to a strategic planning approach that turns the “what tool when” question on its head. You’ll learn:

  • How to build an Office 365 roadmap that is prioritized by business outcomes

  • How to look for patterns that expose which tools will have the most impact and why

  • How to ensure you consider the proper conditions for success

  • Methods and techniques you can use to run an organizational planning process

" End-to-End Timesheet Processing Using PowerApps" - Gilbert Okello

We all do timesheets. They come in various forms and formats from paper based to fully integrated timesheets as part of complex ERP solutions. Gilbert will show you how we built an entire timesheet processing solution using PowerApps.

The solution covers Vacation, Sick and holiday time as well as various Overtime calculations. With two modules – staff module for capturing timesheets and back office module for payroll processing – the solution can be easily adopted by any organization.

About Vancouver Office 365 User Group

The Vancouver Office 365 Users Group (VanO365) meets on the first Thursday of every month to discuss anything related to Microsoft SharePoint or Office365 technologies. We start with some networking over pizza and refreshments, and then dive into two sessions provided by guest speakers. Topics range from end-user basic functionality tutorials to bleeding edge developer deep dives. We then finish the evening with a SharePint; a tasting of what the local craft breweries have to offer.
