The Advanced Data Governance under the O365 Security & Compliance Center (SCC) allows you to retain important information and delete unimportant information by classifying information based on a retention or deletion policy or both. It includes intelligent/automated actions such as recommending policies, automatically applying labels to data, applying labels based on sensitive data types or queries, disposition review, and use of smart import filters. It also includes the Supervision feature for reviewing employee communications for security and compliance purposes. You will learn how it really works and where the limitations are.
There will also be a second presentation on Controlling O365 access with the Azure Active Directory.

The Vancouver Office 365 Users Group (VanO365) meets on the first Thursday of every month to discuss anything related to Microsoft SharePoint or Office365 technologies. We start with some networking over pizza and refreshments, and then dive into two sessions provided by guest speakers. Topics range from end-user basic functionality tutorials to bleeding edge developer deep dives. We then finish the evening with a SharePint; a tasting of what the local craft breweries have to offer.
