  • Apply the latest industry advancements to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, performance, and repeatability of setup and deployment

  • Create and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure that any unexpected issues are promptly identified and escalated

  •  Bug/issue investigation, triage and resolution

  • Build and implement a continuous integration and continuous deployment platform (CI/CD)

  • Implement solutions to automate the deployment of applications

  • Develop and maintain scripts, scheduled tasks, and automations for system deployment and management processes

  • Perform software upgrades including the planning, test, validation, and coordination

  • Actively support product development team and take on tasks (including testing) as required

  • Availability for occasional on-call after-hours support

Key Skills

  •   Solid understanding of Microsoft technology stack – Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, .Net, SQL

  •   Exposure to Azure services – Web Apps, Functions, CosmosDB, Application Insights

  •   Experience with complex SaaS environments

  •   Experience in C#

  •   Experience in PowerShell

  •   Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, security, encryption, and software engineering practices

  •   Familiarity in deployment, operation and troubleshooting of container-based workloads

  •   Agile and SCRUM experience

  • Experience in UI automation an asset

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

  • Team player with ability to provide strong input and contribution

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related software technology field, or demonstrated job experience equating to a Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience (University and Co-op experience applicable)
