Collabware Consultant

We are looking for a SharePoint ECM Consultant to join our Product Experience team. The ideal candidate for this role has expertise in enterprise content management with Microsoft SharePoint; and has a passion for working closely with customers to achieve successful outcomes. The successful candidate will work remotely, ideally located near Cambridge, MA or Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide ECM and Microsoft SharePoint expertise to existing Collabware customers.

  •   Conduct discovery sessions with customers; prepare and present conceptual solution design proposals.

  • Design and develop information architecture and governance processes.

  •  Design and configure collaboration sites.

  • Prepare best practice recommendations for customers in relation to Microsoft O365 and SharePoint.

  • Design and configure content migration and ingestion processes using scripts or third-party tools.

  •   Learn Collabware product functionality and capabilities and provide configuration services.

  •   Prepare clear and concise documentation.

  •   Travel within North America expected up to 1 week per month.

Key Skills

  • Microsoft SharePoint and O365 content management experience

  • Expertise in Information Architecture design, specifically with site, library, content type taxonomy

  • Expertise in Site/Application Architecture design

  • Knowledge and experience with PowerShell, SharePoint Workflow and Content Organizer

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and mediation skills

  • Able to juggle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines

Experience and Qualifications

  • Consultative experience in implementation of Microsoft SharePoint solutions including:

    o    Requirements gathering and analysis

    o    Business process analysis and design

    o    Information architecture development

    o    Content and data migration architecture and design

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related software technology field, or equivalent demonstrated work experience and education 

  • Bonus points if you have:

    o    Security Clearance with US federal government

    o    Experience with records management

    o    Experience with Enterprise Content Management systems

    o    Experience with O365 record center

    o    Experience with PSIGEN

    o    Experience with ShareGate
