Customer Support Engineer

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team in Vancouver!

You will be focused on diagnosing and resolving technical issues while responding to product questions and service queries from our customers and partners. The Application Support Engineer ensures that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.


  • Assist Collabware customers and partners with technical issues and questions
  • Investigate issues, identify the root cause and determine potential solutions
  • Replicate customer environments to enable reproducing and debugging of reported issues
  • Participate in the development, installation and implementation of Collabware products
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of articles and guides
  • Perform build and release activities as required

Key Skills

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365
  • Strong background in customer service with confidence and experience in resolving customer issues within established service levels
  • Comfortable dealing with customer escalations and issues
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); fluency in French or Spanish is a bonus
  • Working knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, PowerShell and debugging techniques is an asset

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Application Support, Technical Support, Help Desk or similar role
  • Technical writing experience including writing knowledge-base or training material that is both concise and informative
