Senior User Experience (UX) Developer

We are looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Developer to join our team in Vancouver!

As a UX Developer with Collabware, you will work collaboratively with designers, architects and stakeholders to evolve our products through continuous innovation. You are an ideal candidate if you have a collaborative work ethic, passionate about user experience, take pride in your work and have a strong background in React, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.


  • Develop innovative user interfaces for Collabware products
  • Review work produced by junior UX developers
  • Mentor junior members of the development team on UX development techniques and best design  practices
  • Contribute to evolving our branding, user-centered design ways of working, new interface guidelines and design patterns
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of the development process and team culture
  • Stay informed of advances in interactive techniques, technologies and methods, and adapt to rapidly evolving industry space

Key Skills

  • Expertise in React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6 development and debugging techniques
  • Proven experience developing for responsive web design and single page application principles
  • Working knowledge of WebPack builds
  • Working knowledge of C#/.NET development and debugging techniques
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio, GIT and Team Foundation Server
  • Experience working with design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Blend)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Creativity and great attention to details and design
  • HTML Canvas and SVG development knowledge an asset
  • SharePoint and SPFx development knowledge an asset
  • Dojo Toolkit knowledge an asset

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, or related software technology field, or demonstrated work experience equating to a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Over 5 years’ relevant work experience in software development
  • Must have a portfolio of relevant work
